Crafty PIP

Crafty PIP is a great opportunity to learn and share your craft knowledge with like minded people. The group enjoys a variety of crafts, including knitting, crocheting, card making and much more. Below is a picture of them painting their very own pottery! But if you have your own project to work on, you are welcome to come along and do your own thing. Suggestions are welcome for any other craft activities you would like to try.

Crafty PIP also use their skills to benefit the local community: Crafty PIP makes Christmas and Easter gifts for the Andy Pandy Pre-school children and they have helped with making costumes for Wicor Primary School for their rock challenge performance. They have also been busy making twiddle muffs, which is a double thickness hand muff with bits and bobs attached inside and out. It is designed to provide a stimulation activity for restless hands for people living with dementia in local care homes and people have been very thankful for their kind efforts.

The group meets on alternate Tuesdays from 2pm to 4pm at Portchester Hub (£2.75 per session). If you would like any further information pop into the hub and we are happy to help.
